| Community Involvement |
| Don is past president of Touchet Valley Little League and Blue Mountain Youth Soccer Association. The hospital baseball/softball/soccer complex was built during his tenure as president. Don retired after twenty years of service to the Dayton volunteer fire department. He is currently a member of the Dayton Lions and Dayton Fair and Livestock Sale Committee. He has coached numerous baseball, softball, soccer and AAU basketball teams throughout the years as well as being involved with several community events. |

Don was raised on a small farm in Spangle Washington. He graduated from Eastern Washington University with a degree in chemistry and later received a Masters degree in Microcomputer Applications in Business. He recently completed a thirty year teaching career, ALL in Dayton, teaching math, science, and computer applications. He was also vocational director, network administrator, FBLA advisor, and basketball and football coach. He taught several computer classes for WWCC and EWU, before beginning his real estate career in 2007.
His wife, Vickie, is WIC coordinator for the Columbia County Health Department. His son, Drew, is a graduate of Dayton High School and Whitworth University, was employed by Blackrock Development in Couer d'Alene, ID and is now pursuing a career in the insurance industry. His daughter, Mindy, a 2009 graduate of Dayton High School, is currently a sophomore at Whitworth University majoring in International Business. |
